Jackery Basing Luhat is a dedicated community leader and advocate from Middle Baram, Sarawak, a remote area located two hours from the nearest town. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Development, Jackery currently works with a private company in the Community and Engagement Liaison Department. His work has enabled him to visit over 80 villages across Baram, where he engages with a wide range of communities from various ethnic groups.

Beyond his professional role, Jackery is passionate about volunteerism, particularly in community-based programmes aimed at raising awareness about the importance of education among school pupils. He has also contributed to small-scale environmental conservation and preservation projects in collaboration with NGOs. Jackery is excited to attend the Rainforest Youth Summit to gain new insights, exchange ideas on pressing global issues, and collaborate on sustainable solutions to today’s challenges.
