The Rainforest Youth Summit (RAYS) is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all participants. As a youth-centred platform bringing together diverse communities, cultures, disciplines, and lived experiences from around the world, RAYS encourages meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and shared learning grounded in dignity, care, and mutual respect.

Our Code of Conduct, Inclusion & Participation Guidelines outline the expectations and shared responsibilities of all participants across summit spaces and activities. The guidelines cover respectful engagement, cultural sensitivity, professional conduct, inclusion, safety, and accountability, while recognising the importance of Indigenous knowledge, diverse perspectives, and equitable participation in shaping shared futures. All delegates, speakers, partners, volunteers, media representatives, and attendees are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these guidelines prior to participating in RAYS 2026.
We respectfully acknowledge that this summit takes place on the ancestral lands of the Indigenous peoples of Sarawak, including the Iban, Bidayuh, Orang Ulu, and Malay communities. We honour their enduring connection to this land, their cultures, and their traditions, and recognise their continued contributions to the richness of Sarawak's heritage.
