Diego Arreola Fernández, a 21-year-old climate action luminary hailing from Mexico, is resolute in his mission to ensure that every child and young person worldwide has a voice in shaping climate policies and sustainable initiatives. As the Founder and President of Green Speaking, Diego has galvanized a global community of over 4,000 youths spanning 12 countries, instilling in them a proactive commitment to environmental stewardship and combatting plastic pollution. Additionally, he lends his expertise as a member of EarthEcho's esteemed Youth Leadership Council and maintains affiliations with the Captain Planet Foundation. Currently pursuing studies in International Relations and Economics at the University of Toronto as a Pearson Scholar, Diego exemplifies a multifaceted approach to effecting positive change on a global scale, embodying the spirit of youthful leadership in the fight for a sustainable future.
