Dr. Ann is profoundly dedicated to safeguarding wildlife and preserving biodiversity in Malaysia. Armed with a Ph.D. in Biosciences, she specializes in animal disease monitoring using social network analysis techniques. Her professional background encompasses a pivotal role as a monitoring specialist at Harimau Selamanya with Rimba, a prominent local wildlife conservation NGO. Recognizing the critical intersection of wildlife conservation and legal frameworks, she founded Justice for Wildlife Malaysia (JWM), a non-governmental organization with a mission to bridge conservation efforts with legal advocacy. Through strategic application of legislation and targeted awareness campaigns, JWM aims to foster a comprehensive approach to wildlife protection. Her multifaceted expertise and unwavering commitment underscore her pivotal role in advancing environmental stewardship and biodiversity conservation efforts in Malaysia.
