

Dylan Kava
Environmental Advocate & Political Activist
Dylan Kava (he/him) is an environmental advocate, political activist, and communications professional from Fiji. He currently serves as the Strategic Communications Lead at the Pacific Islands Climate Action Network (PICAN), a regional alliance of over 269 civil society organisations advancing Pacific-led climate policy and advocacy across the region. In addition, Dylan is the East Asia and Pacific Regional Facilitator for the Youth Climate Justice Fund (YCJF), a global, youth-led fund that mobilises and channels resources directly to young activists driving climate justice initiatives within their communities. With a background in Political Science and Journalism, Dylan has led regional campaigns for social and climate justice, supporting youth movements across the Pacific. He is deeply committed to amplifying youth voices and ensuring meaningful participation in shaping policy at national, regional, and international levels. Through his work, Dylan continues to empower the next generation of climate leaders, fostering collaboration, advocacy, and action for a more just and sustainable future across the Pacific and beyond.
