She is widely recognised for using her platform to promote sustainable lifestyles, ethical fashion, and climate action through digital content, public speaking, and community engagement. Through her website, heymelissatan.com, and her social media channels, Melissa shares practical tips and thought-provoking insights on environmentalism and conscious living. Beyond content creation, Melissa is an experienced event producer and community organiser. She has launched and curated impactful sustainability events such as Green Day Out, The Conscious Market, and community clothes swaps, all designed to make sustainable living more accessible. She also champions grassroots initiatives and impact-driven businesses, regularly partnering with ethical brands, B Corps, and non-profits on local and regional campaigns. Melissa’s advocacy has earned her recognition as an Ambassador for EARTHDAY.ORG, and she is a trained Climate Reality Leader.
